Probate

Can you sell a house that is in probate in Ohio?

Usually yes, but not on day one, and not by everybody.

The plain answer

In most cases yes, once the court has appointed someone to act for the estate. Before that appointment, nobody has authority to sign. Your probate attorney will tell you exactly where your estate stands.
